Trees are woody and physically strong, yet very sensitive to stress.  TreeWorks take great care when preparing trees for transplant. We ensure maximum root recovery, by manually hand trimming root boles to prevent transplant shock and also use specialised products to prevent desiccation of the leaves.

Where possible we use cranes to lift the tree by the root ball and nothing else, in other instances and depending on the tree size we move trees manually. In the after transplant phase, we do follow up visits to measure soil water content and also check on the irrigation systems installed.

Trees can take up to 15 years to re-establish once transplanted however our specialised post-transplant treatments can reduce this recover time substantially.
